What is Kratom Extract?

Kratom Extract is a herbal extract that is derived from the plant known as Mitragyna speciosa, which originates out of the jungles of Southeast Asia. Kratom is currently being used for medical purposes in Africa. Other nations are conducting research into the plants potential to curb addiction to, and withdrawal from, opiates. Traditionally Kratom has been used by Thai workers as means to boost their energy for increased productivity at work, or as a means to relax after a days work. Further research on its sedative properties suggests that Kratom is also reported to induce a sense of well being with users reporting improved moods, and reduced anxiety.

What are the effects of Kratom Extract?

Kratom is classified as an opiate because it binds to mu Opioid receptors. However, it is unique compared to other opioids in that it has properties of both a stimulant and a depressant. The experience is slightly different for everyone, but most report an opiate-like euphoria and relaxation, with a small stimulating effect (not unlike a large caffeine dose). Duration
